Combining fun, food and folklore

Breath is food

The body eats food

This Body rests on the breath

Breath rests on the body

Food is resting on food

The one who knows this becomes rich in food and great in fame

(Taittiriya Upanishad 11.7)

Lungi Babas

"Lungi Babas is really looking forward to sharing some delicious food and special moments with you all! Our food is created all from scratch with love and mindfulness, each dish explores the six tastes of nature and five colours on a plate to fill our hearts and stomachs with health and joy.

All our food is vegetarian, we will be cooking our traditional south Indian street food and thali's to tantalise your taste buds and will also provide a continental (non spicy) alternative for each meal, plus options for kids, gluten free and vegan. If you have any specific dietary requirements please do come and talk with us when you arrive. Finally we encourage you all to bring your own plates, bowls, cups and cutlery to cut own on waste"

Field 725 catering :

"The Field 725 wood-fired pizza oven will be cooking up a storm of flavours each evening at Campout, serving pizza and other oven-baked delights from 6pm until 9pm. Our top chefs will be getting creative to augment our usual offering for the Campout crowd.

The cafe will also be providing breakfasts each morning with vegetarian and meat options including Shakshuka; Bacon; Avocado; Halloumi and Mushroom options. We also sell 50p teas. Through the day we’ll be providing some sweet treats, soft drinks and other bits to keep campers happy!

Finally, our campsite bar will be racking up the drinks with a full menu including a delicious range of gin and tonics; biodynamic wines; local cider and ales. Open each day from 12pm - 11pm."

Claude the Butler will be providing coffee, tea and cakes "Our coffee is barista style, hand-roasted stuff. Our cakes, home-made with locally-sourced, organic ingredients, our honest-to-goodness soups come with chunks of artisan bread, no nasties, and our in-house smoothie maker churns out our special ‘recovery’ shakes. We also make a nice cup of tea…"
