A Dance of Balance: Celebrating the Autumn Equinox (21-23 September)

‘A Dance of Balance’ is a weekend event celebrating Mabon, 21-23 September (Friday 7pm – Sunday 4pm), at Hazel Hill Wood, a magical 70-acre conservation woodland and retreat centre near Salisbury.

The event is facilitated by internationally-renowned yoga teacher Sian Lalita-Alcock and coach/vision enabler, Daniel Koerner. Sian and Daniel will be supported by Agatha Manouche, an acclaimed Indo-European medicine woman, who for 20 years has helped steward the wood and led retreats in celebration of Celtic festivals.

“Mabon is a time of completion and celebrating in gratitude for all that we have harvested, the lessons we ́ve learned and the challengewe've faced," Sian explains. “As we complete the last stages of our harvesting and are truly with the energy of thanksgiving, we explore balance in our lives, dancing on the edge of the light and the dark in preparation for entering into the quieter phase of the year.”

Operated by a charitable trust, Hazel Hill Wood contains sacred circles, unique, hand-made off-grid buildings and other special outdoor spaces. Created 30 years ago by natural happiness author, Alan Heeks, the centre runs courses and charitable programmes in resilience and wellbeing with an emphasis on learning from nature.
