Bio? Some routes and my journey here.. brought up in the Fens of Cambridgeshire . From a large Catholic Family- English Dad and a German (immigrant?) Mum. I escaped to Brum  as a student. After 8 interesting years and making good friends, to Newcastle as a newly trained teacher. A career working with children, young people and parents. Then becoming a Dad myself- my best decision ever. Some years of turbulence: now time to decide my direction for the next 50+ years...

Keeping the flame alive after the Campfire...

Our Campout has been nourishing: a healthy feast of fun, connection, rest and play. The decision to attend took a degree of effort, but proved to be so rewarding. Leaving our gathering was a wrench: on Saturday I remember thinking ' I don't want this to end , certainly not just yet...' I really appreciated the way we ended our time together and brought our gathering to a close. Days afterwards I notice the contrast between my usual routine and how it was to be together. I need ways of remembering and holding in mind all those experiences and connections. I decided it would help if I went outside into the new day- these photos show what I found..
