Campfire's Little Chill event leads crowdfund

This is a 'down on the farm' style event for 500 people July 27/28 weekend (arrive Friday). Line up includes :

Tom Middleton, Mixmaster Morris, Matt Black (Coldcut), Alice Russell (live), Mozez (live, ex Zero 7) and many more...

Check full line up below, and we also have a very special Sunday lunchtime set from a Big Chill icon (who we can't name for contractual reasons, but it shouldn't be too difficult to work out who it is!)..

Weekend event tickets include camping and parking : Early bird tickets have now sold out but we will be putting other tickets on sale in early June (follow link below)

I've been dying to let this one out of the bag...

The idea for this event came out of a chance remark from Norman Jay MBE over lunch in west London a month or so ago. Norman and I were reminiscing about Good Times, The Big Chill and looking forward too, talking about his plans - he's writing a book - and how he could support Campfire and in particular our May launch for the  'Fire In The Belly' crowdfund initiative, for which he has kindly done a promo video, when he asked "Have you considered doing a Little Chill as a fundraiser for Campfire?'

To be honest, it wasn't something I had given any thought too prior to that point, but on my drive down to Brighton that afternoon, the idea was circulating around in my head and I had a couple of conversations when I got to the coast. By lunchtime the next day, we had been offered a site in the South Downs and within a couple of weeks, a small team emerged who were up for organising the event. So I dropped a few people an email and was pleasantly surprised by the response, so much so that a line-up of 'old favourites' is already taking shape. So it will be three day 'down on the farm' vibe event in glorious Sussex countryside over the weekend of July 27 / 28, not far from Lewes, with camping, arrive from Friday afternoon / evening, music and other attractions through Saturday and Sunday until late afternoon. The event will be 499 max capacity so it's definitely a case of first come, first served.

The Campfire crowdfund is now live and many of our member have offered perks which are visible as different options too. Initially we are featuring The Little Chill as a ticket purchase option, available exclusively through our Campfire Crowdfund site.

Other options contained in our crowdfund will include a whole range of Mentorship sessions from our members, ranging from a playwright workshop to yoga sessions, how to make a podcast through to a whole weekend of events management training. There will also be limited discounted volunteer tickets to Campfire events in Frome (August) and Paros, Greece (September).

Click below to buy tickets >>  They are selling fast so don't miss out!   (Some children's tickets and live-in vehicle tickets will be available separately at a cheaper price from June 1st)
